Overview

Situated in a sunny valley in one of the most picturesque corners of the Western Alps, Bardonnechia has been a popular ski resort since the early 20th century.  It offers visitors the perfect blend of tradition and modernity, constantly evolving to keep up with the times yet retaining a great deal of its old-world character.

The ski area stretches over a wide variety of terrain with plenty of slopes that weave through the woods as well as slopes at higher altitudes with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Families are well catered for with a whole range of activities for children including a Junior Park and snowtubing slope as well as over 200 instructors and Alpine guides. Bardonnechia’s crowning glory is its ultra modern snowpark complete with Olympic halfpipe.

Competitive skiers can also enjoy a Race Slope, complete with automatic timing device while those in search of solitude can drink in the breathtaking views from the cross-country trails.
